The History of School of Health Sciences Kusuma Husada Surakarta

Health Sciences School of Kusuma Husada Surakarta was started by the establishment of the Nursing Academy and the Midwifery Academy Kusuma Husada Surakarta. The Nursing Academy and the Midwifery Academy Kusuma Husada Surakarta were established on April 21st, 2001, under the auspices of the  Kusuma Husada Surakarta Foundation. The Nursing Academy (Akper) received an operating permit from the Ministry of National Education through the Decree of the Indonesian Minister of Education No.236 / D / O / 2001 and the Midwifery Academy (Akbid) received an operating permit from the Ministry of National Education through the Decree of the Minister of National Education No.232 / D / O / 2001.

After the passage of time, the Nursing Academy and the Midwifery Academy of Kusuma Husada Surakarta became Health Sciences School of Kusuma Husada Surakarta, which obtained permits from the Ministry of National Education through the Republic of Indonesia Minister of Education Decree No. 173 / D / O / 2009 on October 16th, 2009 with the granting of permission to hold a Bachelor of Nursing Study Program (S1) and the merger of the Nursing Academy Kusuma Husada Surakarta and the Midwifery Academy Kusuma Husada Surakarta into the Health Science School (STIKes) of Kusuma Husada Surakarta. STIKes Kusuma Husada Surakarta has been accredited by Higher Education Institutions by BAN-PT No: 262 / SK / BAN-PT / Akred / PT / IV / 2015 dated 18 April 2015 with the predicate C

In 2016,  Health Sciences School of Kusuma Husada  Surakarta held a Professional Nurses Study Program, with the title of Nurse (Ns.). In 2018, we held the Bachelor of Nutrition  Study Program, Bachelor of Midwifery  Study Program, and Midwife Professional Study Program, Applied Bachelor of Health Promotion Study Program, Bachelor of Health Administration Study Program, Bachelor of Hospital Administration Study Program, Bachelor of Pharmacy Study Program.
